2. Nov. 22: at New Orleans Saints

When you’re done eating turkey and spending time with family on Thanksgiving, the Falcons and Saints will be suiting up for one of the NFC South’s biggest games of 2018. The two squads split their two contests in 2017, with the Saints eventually coming away with the forever-coveted division title.

More from Atlanta Falcons

Needless to say, this battle on Nov. 22 could decide who wins the divisional crown in late-December.

Even if both of these teams, for whatever reason, aren’t competing for the division championship at this point in the year, there’s a pretty good chance they’ll be fighting for one of the two NFC Wild Card spots. With Drew Brees and Matt Ryan behind center, both fanbases can take comfort in the fact their squads are in good hands when it comes to preparing for the 2018-19 NFC Playoffs.

While the Saints were certainly a surprise last season, they won’t be sneaking up on anyone this year. Still, with one of the more impressive offensive units in football, New Orleans will be hard to stop regardless.

If the NFC South was as competitive as it was last year, this battle on Thanksgiving night could be one of the best overall games of 2018 when it’s all said and done.
