The New York Jets begin organized team activities this week, so Michael Pallas brings you the beginning of a series of players who should make an impact in 2018 for the Jets.
In this week’s episode, the JetUp Bleeding Green Podcast host, Michael Pallas, brings to you the first installment of 2018 New York Jets who can make an impact on this season.
Other than Sam Darnold, two players in this draft class stood out for the Jets. One of them was drafted in the sixth round, and the other was picked up by the Jets as an undrafted free agent.
Fullback Dimitri Flowers fell to the Jets in the undrafted free agency period. Given his ability, they were lucky to land him after the draft, but his impact on the offense will undoubtedly be felt in his ability to play multiple positions and do many things well for this team.
Defensive tackle Foley Fatukasi was selected by the Jets in the sixth round, and he can make an impact immediately. He can play all along the defensive front and be a force in the running game.
