The Dallas Cowboys need their younger players to develop to be successful. Here are three players who are set to have a break out season.

The Dallas Cowboys finished 9-7 last season barely missing the playoffs. As a part of that season included a six game suspension for running back Ezekiel Elliott. With Elliott in the fold and the numerous offseason additions this team could be primed for a playoff run.

The major off season move the Cowboys made was to tag defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence. They further shored up their defensive line by adding veteran Kony Ealy. Adding a pass rusher will help take the pressure off Lawrence next season. Taco Charlton didn’t have the rookie year he wanted but could come on strong next season.

The Cowboys also rearranged their wide receiver room. Gone is Dez Bryant. In his place is former Jacksonville Jaguar Allen Hurns. Hurns is very much a player in the same mold as Bryant but plays better in space. The Cowboys also added Tavon Austin, but he may see more time at running back than wide receiver.

The offensive line was another area targeted for improvement by the Cowboys. Gone is journeyman Jonathan Cooper. In this place is free agent signee Cameron Fleming and second round draft pick and University of Texas tackle Connor Williams. But it is La’el Collins who may be the key to the group.

If the Cowboys can improve upon their 9-7 record and make the playoffs, they will need some of their young talent to step. Here are three players primed for breakout seasons.
