Equanimeous St. Brown

The former Notre Dame wideout will be reunited with his 2016 teammate DeShone Kizer. St. Brown is arguably the best specimen of the three receivers selected. However, he faces the biggest uphill battle considering his draft position. Unlike the others though, St. Brown has proven he can run the route tree effectively.

Because of his size, (6-5, 215 pounds), speed and play style, there are some similarities between St. Brown and the recently retired Vincent Jackson. St. Brown has room to grow on his frame and could end up around 220-230 pounds, but he does use his size and excellent balls skills to help him win on 50-50 balls.

He wasn’t used a ton a Notre Dame thanks to poor quarterback play, which negatively impacted his numbers. The way he runs his routes and creates separation, in addition to understanding where to sit against zones, makes him a potential steal.

St. Brown could end up being a receiver the Packers could rely on earlier than his draft position suggest. He could be a mismatch problem for defensive backs, especially with his deceptive quickness and speed. I wouldn’t be surprised if leaped over his draft mates and took the lead a big target for Aaron Rodgers.
