Wide Receivers

Outside Starters: Terrelle Pryor, Robby Anderson
Bench: Quincy Enunwa, Jermaine Kearse, Chad Hansen, ArDairus Stewart

The wide receiver position will be the most hotly contested position in camp outside of quarterback. Anderson and Enunwa are up and coming players who have shown some signs they can be No. 1 receivers, and Pryor already has a season under his belt where he was the No. 1 receiver and had good production.

Having Pryor and Anderson on the outside give the Jets a lot of options, especially if the go with Darnold immediately. Having the deep threats on the outside will open things up for the tight end, slot receivers, and the back(s). Also, having strong receiver like Enunwa in the slot gives them a quasi-tight end as a better blocker to open more holes on the outside for the run.

In addition, according to Pro Football Focus Elite, Enunwa caught 36 of his 58 receptions and had three of his four touchdowns and 488 out of his 857 yards from the slot in 2016.

If the Jets want to build toward the future, this team is going to have to have players with defined roles that move sometimes, but not often. So, having Pryor and Anderson on the outside and Enunwa in the slot seems to be the answer for this team.
