11. Jordan Howard

Back in 2016, one of the best decisions the Chicago Bears could have made was use a fifth-round pick on Jordan Howard when looking how quickly it’s taken him to become one of the league’s most explosive running backs. For obvious reasons, the Bears never would have selected the former Indiana star two years ago if they didn’t believe he was capable of making some sort of impact on offense, but it’s safe to say nobody expected him to be in this position.

After rushing for 2,435 yards and 15 touchdowns in 31 games during his first two NFL seasons, this year is going to be completely different for Howard since Chicago has a legitimate offense for him to play in. It was one thing for the Bears to focus on Mitch Trubisky as their quarterback of the future, but to see the team go out in free agency to land Allen Robinson and Trey Burton shows they mean business when it comes to taking the necessary steps in the right direction.

By being part of a better offense, there’s every reason to believe that Howard will record his best season in 2018 since he won’t be facing as much pressure to carry the workload on offense. As for whether this means Chicago can make a surprise run at the playoffs, only time will tell.
