3. Donte Moncrief, WR (from Indianapolis Colts)

Stop if you’ve heard this one before. The four teams in the AFC South over the past two offseasons have done quite the job switching players within the division. Last offseason, the Jacksonville Jaguars picked up cornerback A.J. Bouye from the Houston Texans. This offseason, Bill O’Brien’s team returned the favor by signing cornerback Aaron Colvin during free agency. All told, there are countless examples among the four clubs.

Hence, it makes sense that the defending AFC South Champions wood snare wide receiver Donte Moncrief — formerly of the Indianapolis Colts. Injuries have hampered his career the past two seasons. But he has displayed some big-play ability and has displayed it on more than one occasion, regardless of who’s throwing the football. He has been a favorite end zone target of Andrew Luck while the Colts signal-caller was healthy.

In his second season (2015), he played in 16 games and was targeted a career-best 105 times. Moncrief totaled 64 receptions for 733 and six scores. One year later, he was limited to nine contests but still managed 30 catches, seven for touchdowns.

As has been previously mentioned, the Jaguars have made their share of changes when it comes to their receiving corps. If he can remain healthy, Moncrief is a solid addition and should emerge as a reliable option for quarterback Blake Bortles.
