The Atlanta Falcons are counting on Devonta Freeman to be productive again in 2018. Take a look at three bold predictions for former Seminoles star.

The Atlanta Falcons have big plans in store for 2018, but they won’t come close to their goals without another great season from Devonta Freeman. The former Seminoles superstar has become one of the best running backs in the league since becoming a professional football player, but I think he still has a ton of room for improvement — in a good way, of course.

Since joining the Falcons, Freeman has brought a toughness and grit that Atlanta football had been lacking for quite some time. Sure, we saw Michael “The Burner” Turner have some great years, but he wasn’t one to embrace contact. If anything, it was best for him to avoid it at all costs to last the entire season.

However, even though every Falcons fan wants to see Freeman run through every defender on the field, it’s become obvious the concussions are piling up. I love the intense passion Freeman brings on each and every play, but I want to see him have a long and successful career in the NFL. Not to mention, have a long and healthy life afterwards.

That said, I know Freeman will be doing everything in his power to not lose a ton of carries to Tevin Coleman this year. Injuries or not, I think we’re going to see Freeman come out on fire n 2018.
