Atlanta Falcons rookie, Ito Smith, could surprise a ton of people in 2018. With that said, take a look at three bold predictions for the Southern Miss star.

The Atlanta Falcons surprised a lot of folks in the 2018 NFL Draft as they selected running back, Ito Smith, with their fourth-round pick. The Dirty Birds have been running strong with Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman for the last three years, but it’s clear Atlanta’s front office is starting to prepare for life potentially without Coleman.

Heck, even if Thomas Dimitroff is able to sign Coleman after the 2018 season, having Smith available will be a luxury most teams only can wish for. Needless to say, advantage Falcons.

If you didn’t know who Ito Smith was before the NFL Draft, you should know he was one of the most dynamic backs in all of college football. The only problem was that he went to school at Southern Mississippi.

Still, we’ve seen some small school players make a career for themselves in this league, which means Smith’s future is very much in the air. Just because he went to a Conference USA program doesn’t mean he’s not capable of becoming a star in the NFL.

That said, take a look at three bold predictions for the Falcons rookie in his first year in professional football.
