Out of all the Atlanta Falcons talented offensive players, Mohamed Sanu may be the biggest key to the team’s success. That said, here are three bold predictions for him in 2018.

One of the more debatable free agent signings in the last few years for the Atlanta Falcons was wide receiver Mohamed Sanu. After long-time Dirty Birds great Roddy White was sent packing, the Falcons were looking for another big-bodied receiver to complement Julio Jones on the opposite side of the field. Needless to say, Thomas Dimitroff found his guy in the former Rutgers standout who was previously with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Even though most Falcons fans weren’t on-board with the Sanu signing in the offseason of 2016, I think most everyone feels pretty darn good about the deal now. There will always be people who disagree with the terms of a player’s contract, but in my opinion, the guy has earned his money and then some.

With this Atlanta franchise still looking for their first Lombardi Trophy, all eyes will be on whether or not Sanu can be that better-than-average number two receiver for Matt Ryan. Thankfully, the Falcons will never have to count on Sanu to carry the load, but his production is vitally important to this Dirty Birds offense.

If they want to get back to leading the NFL in scoring, they’ll need Sanu to have one heck of a season. With that said, take a look at three bold predictions for the former Rutgers superstar in the 2018 season.
