3. Jones surpass 10,000 career receiving yards
For a lifelong Falcons fan who has endured some tough seasons and enjoyed some of the recent success brought on by Matt Ryan, I can honestly say it’s been the most-fun to watch Julio Jones develop in professional football. Heck, we all knew the type of player Atlanta was getting when they traded up for in him in the draft, but he’s turning a great career into a potential Hall-of-Fame deal.

As Jones is now about to head into his eight year in the league, he has a great opportunity to reach a significant milestone: 10,000 career receiving yards. If he can stay healthy and get to training camp next month, he should be able to do it without problem.
Currently, the former Crimson Tide star is sitting on 9,054 receiving yards after seven years with the Atlanta Falcons. This means Jones would have to average, at least, 60 receiving yards per game in 2017 to reach that milestone.
It’s time to pull out your cameras and hit record on the DVR, Falcons fans. It seems as though the NFL’s best receiver is about to jump to sixth-place on the NFL’s, active players, career receiving yards leader list.
