George Kittle – HIGH

It has been tough, of late, to get consistent production from the tight end position in fantasy beyond the usual suspects, and even Rob Gronkowski’s numbers have been hit by injury in recent times.

In his rookie year, though, Kittle provided a big indication he could put up impressive statistics from the position in his first season. He likely would have added to his 43 receptions for 515 and two touchdowns had injury not hindered his first season as a pro.

Kittle is athletic enough to make things happen after the catch and has the frame to be a huge threat down in the red zone. Playing in an offense in which multiple tight end sets were used just 17 percent of the time in 2017, per Sharp Football, Kittle should receive the majority of the snaps as the starting tight end and, providing he stays healthy, has the skill set to become a star both for 49ers and in fantasy.
