The Pittsburgh Steelers wouldn’t be too disappointed with the outcome of the 2018 NFL season if these bold predictions became reality in a few months.

It’s been a very interesting past few months for the Pittsburgh Steelers. After a quiet start to the offseason, they got busy improving the roster, making a couple of quality free agent signings before putting together a promising draft class.

Now the real work begins, though. Training camp is just around the corner, and the 53-man roster still needs to be set. The preseason lingers beyond that before we can even start to sniff the regular season. And yet, here we are today talking about bold predictions for the Steelers’ 2018 campaign.

Am I a fortune teller? Of course not. Honestly, most of the bold predictions I’ve proclaimed over the last decade or so have been far off the mark. Isn’t that kind of against the point of bold predictions, though? More than anything, they’re meant to spur discussion and help us imagine what the future could potentially hold.

The sports world loves speculation. It’s pretty much what the offseason was made for.

So without further ado, let’s take a look at five bold predictions I’ve concocted for the Steelers’ 2018 season. They may not all be exactly what fans want to hear/read, but I’m not here to make friends or coddle your ego.
