2. Pittsburgh sweeps the AFC North

This is probably the least bold of these predictions, largely due to the fact that it’s completely feasible. However, seeing as AFC North rivalries are always closing the talent gaps between teams, this would be quite the feat for the Steelers in 2018.

The Baltimore Ravens always seem to be hanging around the fringe of playoff contention. The Cincinnati Bengals took a big step backwards last year, but still have plenty of talent on both sides of the ball. I know the Cleveland Browns are the laughing stock of the NFL, but even they took significant strides towards relevance this offseason.

What I’m trying to say is going 6-0 in divisional play won’t be easy. As much of an upperhand as the Steelers appear to have, they’re going to have to scratch and claw their way to every divisional win in 2018.

Still, when all is said and done, the 6-0 divisional record will be theirs. The Pittsburgh offense is one of the most explosive in the league, and the defense is vastly underrated. As long as they can get a few of their younger playmakers to step up and see some production from their new linebackers, the Steelers will have no problem securing the AFC North crown.
