The Oakland Raiders are a highly visible franchise, but not all their players are in the spotlight. Here are three such members of the team flying under the radar

There’s not many teams that have the following of the Oakland Raiders. It doesn’t matter what part of the country you’re in, there’s someone nearby who is in with the Raider Nation. Even so, there’s some players that don’t stand out as much as others.

We all know the big names like quarterback Derek Carr who has the offense on his shoulders. Their wins and losses become his and he gets judged for them. It’s the life of a quarterback and most wouldn’t have it any other way.

Defensive end Khalil Mack is another name most of us know. He was the 2016 NFL Defensive Player of the Year and can be penciled in for double-digit sacks every year.

Outside of that, they have other stars like receiver Amari Cooper, safety Karl Joseph and running back Marshawn Lynch. They all have their expected roles and if they don’t fill them, the team suffers.

Then there’s the guys who aren’t talked about as much. A few players on every team, even one as high-profile as the Raiders, can fly under the radar and wind up being vital to the success of the franchise.
