Josh Rosen, QB, Arizona Cardinals

Josh Rosen may perhaps be the most talented quarterback from the 2018 draft class. However, Rosen’s fantasy outlook isn’t as favorable as the likes of number one pick Baker Mayfield, or voted “most likely to start day one” in Josh Allen. With Sam Bradford being paid a hefty $20 million for his services this season, Rosen isn’t exactly favored to start all 16 games this year, clouding his fantasy value.

Should Rosen find himself on the field at some point this season (Whether it’s Bradford out due to injury or play), his surrounding cast is not as bad as it looks on paper. Rosen would have David Johnson carrying the ball out of the backfield, and Larry Fitzgerald/Christian Kirk to rely on in the receiving game. Perhaps not the superb supporting cast Mayfield has, Rosen is best equipped to take on the league from day one.

His popular pro-comparison, Aaron Rodgers, has managed to put up insane numbers with not exactly the greatest supporting cast. Rosen’s poise, accuracy and high football intelligence should translate to success on the field, as well as fantasy apps across the country. Despite three quarterbacks being selected before him, with all with better chances of starting, Rosen simply needs a chance to take over the Cardinals offense to prove he’s the best all-around passer among his first year counterparts.
