The 2018 NFL Supplemental Draft has been wildly touted the best in years. Here are some teams that should give up picks for Sam Beal or Adonis Alexander.

July 11 will be the day NFL teams will place their bid in for the talented, yet troubled prospects of 2018 NFL Supplemental Draft. The main stars that will be available are a pair of cornerbacks, Western Michigan’s Sam Beal and Virginia Tech’s Adonis Alexander. Meanwhile, there is also a talented safety in the mix with Mississippi State’s Brandon Bryant.

The talent in this draft has garnered a lot of NFL media attention. In fact, NFL Draft expert and senior analyst at NFLDraftScout.com Rob Rang touted this class as the best in years

The NFL is a passing league and there’s a major thirst for defensive back help. So, Alexander, Beal and Bryant are hot commodities. Additionally, there’s a need for a linebacker with the ability to drop into coverage — and another entrant in Bright Ugwoegbu can do just that. In fact, DraftAnalysts.com had a seventh-round grade on the former Oregon State linebacker. Bryant is an exceptional athlete but his lapses in coverage will affect a team giving up a pick for him. Ugwoegbu doesn’t have the wow factor, so he’ll likely be an undrafted free agent

Ultimately, the biggest gets in the 2018 Supplemental Draft will be Beal and Alexander. But where would these cornerbacks fit best? Let’s take a look.
