5. Week 2 @ Green Bay Packers (Away)

After facing a rising San Francisco 49ers team to open the season, Minnesota turns around and treks to Green Bay — where the frozen tundra will certainly be thawed in early September.

The Vikings got off easy last season after not having to face Aaron Rodgers. Green Bay was off to a fast start with a record of 4-1 before Rodgers coincidentally broke his collarbone against Minnesota in Week 6.

A healthy, motivated Rodgers will be one of the most difficult matchups of the entire season; not to mention the several additions the Packers have made this offseason. Green Bay has made several key acquisitions on defense, including Muhammad Wilkerson, Josh Jackson, Jaire Alexander and Tramon Williams.

That being said, the Vikings offense will have the upper hand based on past performances. It’ll be up to the defense to hold Mr. Rodgers and company to a sub-par day.
