The New York Jets franchise has typically been a defense-based franchise. So, the latest episode of the JetUp Bleeding Green Podcast with Alan Schechter will focus on the defense.

Former NFL Spin Zone Jets contributor, former site expert for The Jet Press, and current co-expert for Empire Writes Back Alan Schechter returns for more New York Jets discussion. This week is all about the defense.

We will talk about two main topics:

1. If Darron Lee is a better pass rusher, and Jordan Jenkins is better at covering passes — as Pro Football Focus stats show — should the Jets consider switching their positions and/or their roles in 2018 to get the best out of them?

2. The Jets selected two defensive linemen in this draft, Nathan Shepherd and Foley Fatukasi. Given Fatukasi’s potential position versatility, do you think he’d fit the Jets better if they decided to mix in some even front with their 3-4 defense?
