Training camp is about to kick off with the 2018 season is upon us. So we’ll look at some Miami Dolphins who may be contend for this year’s NFL Awards.

First and foremost, all of this is just a guess and no one is predicting favorites for 2018 awards at the year’s end in July. But perhaps a few Miami Dolphins will be looking to take home some hardware whenever the awards are doled out. We will not be going over every award — just a few where some Phins could have a chance to fill up their trophy case.

Some of these guys may already be considered as potential winners with others being long shots. We will try to be realistic with this, but we’re also going to have some fun with it. Among the awards we will be mentioning here are Breakout Player of the Year, Comeback Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year.

It’s important to mention that, while none of these players may be favorites to win these awards, they all have a legitimate chance to be in the running, at least in my eyes, and I will make that case. Look for some stars and some sleepers.

Many of these will be far more obvious than others. However, none will be so far-fetched that I will ask you to suspend reality to believe it could ever be possible.
