2019 NFL Mock Draft: Defensive line rules at start of training camp

24. Green Bay Packers: Bryce Love, Stanford, RB
Getting Aaron Rodgers back under center will be key to the success of the Green Bay Packers in 2018. Without him, they struggled mightily on offense.
They did acquire DeShone Kizer from the Cleveland Browns to add depth and competition behind him, but they could use other offensive weapons that could not only carry the load if A-Rod misses time again but who can also help while he’s on the field.
Running back Bryce Love is their pick here and he can do exactly that. He blew up in 2017 when Christian McCaffrey went pro. Taking the lead back role, Love rushed for 2,118 yards and 19 touchdowns.
He likely would have been a day one or two pick had he left last season, but now another year at Stanford pushes him into the first round.
Love can take a lot of pressure off Rodgers as the Packers could finally have a dominant running game — that is if they decided to start running the ball more. Where Love needs to improve though is as a receiver. Green Bay likes their backs to be able to help in the passing game and to this point, Love has been limited in that regard.
