25. Atlanta Falcons: Raekwon Davis, Alabama, DT

Terrell McClain was brought in on a one-year deal and will be a decent replacement for Dontari Poe. Sure, their level of talent isn’t close, but McClain is making a lot less than Poe was — and still is for the Carolina Panthers now.

They had a shot to go for some defensive line help in the 2018 Draft but decided to again add offensive help. They selected Calvin Ridley from Alabama, who is a great player and makes a position of strength even stronger. This season they go back to Alabama for their draft pick, but go for a more pressing need.

Raekwon Davis is a huge defensive tackle, listed at 6-7 and 306 pounds. He’s got the ability to play at either tackle spot and could be a starter from the first day next to Grady Jarrett. As a sophomore, Davis was credited with 69 tackles and also showed a good enough burst to get after the quarterback.

He finished with 8.5 sacks, which was remarkable for the position he plays. Should Atlanta pull the trigger here, they could suddenly have one of the meanest defensive lines in the league with Jarrett, Takk McKinley and Vic Beasley rounding things out.
