5. Josh Rosen, QB, Arizona Cardinals

Current ADP: N/A

At some point in 2018, Sam Bradford is going to get hurt. I feel for the guy, but it’s become a fact of life essentially. When that time comes and Bradford is forced to step aside, the Cardinals will absolutely call on Josh Rosen to conduct the offense.

It’s not like Mike Glennon is any better than the rookie gunslinger. Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Cardinals simply decided to leave him off the 53-man roster.

Okay, back to Rosen. In my opinion, he’s the best quarterback of the 2018 draft class — and it isn’t close. The Cardinals got a straight-up steal landing him at No. 10 overall instead of having to trade up like the New York Jets did for Sam Darnold. Arizona needed a new quarterback of the future, and found it at a discounted price.

When that time inevitably comes, Rosen will step in and begin shredding every defense he’s pitted against. I know there were concerns about his attitude and cockiness coming out of college. If you roll back the tape, though, you see a polished, natural passer with elite upside when tossing a pigskin.

Assuming he sees the field in 2018, Rosen will quickly emerge as a reality and fantasy star. Especially with a reliable option like Larry Fitzgerald to throw to, look for the young signal caller to quiet critics and prove that he deserved to be the first quarterback off the board back in April.
