10. Trubiskuits and Gravy

Current ADP: 130.5
2017 Stats: 2,193 passing yards, 7 passing TDs, 7 INTs, 248 rushing yards, 2 rushing TDs

The face says it all right? Mitchell Trubisky looks like he just got called in from a snowy December night game of backyard football for grandma’s famous biscuits and gravy. Sounds delightful.

Unfortunately, delight may not be what characterizes the Chicago Bears’ 2018 season. There’s some talk of them being one of those sleeper playoff teams, but I don’t see it happening in a division that includes the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers.

Either way, there’s some excitement building around Trubisky and his sophomore season. Sure, the rookie one wasn’t all that impressive (see: above stats). Then again, we have to consider that the weapons he had to work with were unspectacular. With Matt Nagy running the show and an upgraded arsenal of receivers to throw to, this could be a big year for the former No. 2 overall pick.

Chances are you aren’t going to spend a fantasy draft pick on Trubisky unless you’re a Bears fan. Keep him in mind, though, if your starter gets hurt and Chicago begins piling up wins as the end of 2018 nears. He could be a valuable waiver wire addition at some point in the coming months.
