I mean, it’s a great song. It’s been adapted by a number of different groups throughout the years, and will likely continue to get various renditions as more years pass. Almost like this fantasy football team name, which seems to have different players swapped in and out of it season after season.

This year, it’s all about the Lions’ rookie running back, though. And based on early reports, he figures to play a prominent role in the Detroit offense. Although Theo Reddick should continue to handle third-down duties, Ameer Abdullah has proven to be an ineffective early-down option. If Johnson can prove his worth during camp, I could see him carving out a role as early as Week 1.

That’s why he’s consistently getting drafted in the middle rounds right now. I wouldn’t put too much stock into him developing into a fantasy superstar as a rookie, but he could be a valuable player off the bench when the bye weeks start to roll around.
