It may be a bit controversial, but Netflix show “13 Reasons Why” has turned viewers on their heads during its first two seasons. Touching on, well, touchy subjects like school violence and suicide, the show has made waves throughout the online community.

While I wouldn’t say that Jay Ajayi has made a similar impact for the Philadelphia Eagles, he’s certainly carved out a role for himself as one of the NFL’s best young backs. He’s also not nearly as popular as the show this fantasy football team name is referencing, but I’d imagine his star will rise this season after the Eagles’ wild success in 2017.

So should you draft him? Well, it would certainly be a gamble. As you can see by the above stats, he only found the end zone twice in 2018. That’s not a lot of production for a starting running back, but we must also consider there are a lot of mouths to feed in Philly.

Wentz’ return should open some doors for Ajayi. However, sharing the workload with a handful of capable contributors should again limit his productivity. As quality of a runner as Ajayi is, I wouldn’t get my hopes too high of him being a game-breaker for your fantasy team.
