Well, as we all know, the New England Patriots are pretty much money every year when it comes to contending for a Lombardi Trophy. They’ve been to the Super Bowl three of the last four years, winning two more rings in the process.

So this name is rather fitting, isn’t it? The Patriots’ latest addition, who figures to become an integral part of their offense and plan of attack as it relates to winning even more Super Bowls. By all appearances, the selection of Sony Michel was money in the bank.

The Patriots offense also happens to be a great place for running backs to produce quality fantasy stats. We saw LeGarrette Blount put up big numbers a couple of years back, and even Mike Gillislee managed eight touchdowns despite sharing the load in 2017. Even with players like Rex Burkhead and James White vacuuming up touches, Michel should see plenty of action as a rookie.

Right now, Michel seems to offer significant fantasy upside. Although New England running backs can be feast or famine, the future is Michel, who the Patriots figure to feed early and often during the upcoming 2018 campaign.
