Last year, all of the rage was Game of Thrones-themed fantasy football team names. While I only have one for you this year, it’s certainly fitting for a couple of reasons.

Khalil Drogo (a play on Khal Drogo, the leader of the Dothraki army) works in a unique way, at least in my mind. It’s based on Game of Thrones, a television show so many fans are eagerly awaiting the return of. As it so happens, Oakland Raiders fans are also awaiting a return — that of Mack, who is holding out in hopes of receiving a massive contract extension.

Now if you’re not playing an IDP league, then you shouldn’t be worried about the Oakland D. They were one of the worst in the NFL a season ago, rarely benefiting owners who dared start them on Sundays.

However, if you do play IDP, expect Mack to be one of the first defenders off the board. He’s a bona fide playmaker for the Raiders, serving as a versatile edge defender who can rush the passer or stuff the run. If you happen to get him on your team, good things are bound to happen — assuming his holdout ends and he actually plays in 2018.
