There are A LOT of Dak Prescott-themed fantasy names out there. However, this is one of the only ones I haven’t seen at least a dozen times, so it made the list for 2018. We couldn’t leave the Dallas Cowboys fans out, right?

Don’t get me wrong, though. Prescott is a great player. Sure, his sophomore campaign wasn’t quite as exciting as his rookie one was, but he had to come back down to Earth at some point. That’s not to say he can’t get better in the coming years, but we couldn’t expect him to put up ridiculous numbers like that forever, could we?

Well, now he heads into a 2018 season with some serious question marks. Not necessarily about himself, but about his supporting cast. Dez Bryant and Jason Witten are gone, leaving Terrance Williams and Allen Hurns as his top targets. He’ll obviously have Ezekiel Elliott to lean on, but it’s not like that’ll help his fantasy owners much.

Prescott has some appeal from a fantasy perspective. Right now, though, I see him bringing more value on the field than in your fantasy league. However, if you’re looking for a late-round sleeper or second quarterback who can start in a pinch, the Cowboys’ signal caller can fill either role.
