If you plan on winning your 2018 fantasy football league, you should avoid these five big-name NFL quarterbacks, ranked from least to most risky.

While quarterback isn’t necessarily the most important position in fantasy football, having a star gunslinger can be a game-changer. Unfortunately, finding a signal caller who’s going to consistently put big points on the board is as easy as hitting the bulls-eye while blindfolded.

We could talk for days about which quarterback you should have in mind when your fantasy draft begins. However, today, I want to instead shine a spotlight on a few big names you shouldn’t touch with a 10-foot pole come draft day.

Now, to preface this, I will say that there are a number of different reasons to avoid every one of the quarterbacks I’m about to mention. Some have to do with injury concerns. Others have to do with a general ineffectiveness when it comes to helping fantasy owners win. There’s even one that really comes down to scheme and a general lack of weapons in his arsenal.

Either way you look at it, it would be in your best interests to leave these guys on the board for someone else to be disappointed with.
