Denver Broncos: Finally come through on offense

One can only imagine how different the last two seasons would have been for the Denver Broncos if they had a reliable quarterback under center instead of going with players like Trevor Siemian and Brock Osweiler. For a team that was already fortunate enough to have a solid defense led by one of the league’s top players in Von Miller, it was frustrating to see the Broncos fail to come through on the offensive side of the football.

A defense like Denver can only do so much on their own without the proper help from the other side of the football, but all of that should change in 2018 thanks to the team landing one of the top quarterbacks from free agency in Case Keenum. Seeing the Vikings move on from the veteran after everything he did last year may have been surprising at the time, but the good news for Keenum is he has an opportunity to be part of an offense loaded with talent at receiver.

Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders will certainly make life much easier for Keenum during his first season in Denver. And if the defense continues to play at a high level like previous seasons, the Broncos should be able to get back into the playoff hunt.
