Indianapolis Colts: No setbacks with Luck’s shoulder
Is anyone surprised to see Andrew Luck’s shoulder being the main obstacle for the Indianapolis Colts heading into the 2018 season after missing all of last year? As bad as it sounds, there seemed to be times in 2017 when the Colts didn’t even seem to know what was going on with Luck and his shoulder since he made it sound like at first that he would only missing part of the season.
Based off the last few weeks along with training camp, Indianapolis has to be pleased where Luck stands at the moment, although he still has a long way to go when it comes to feeling confident enough in remaining healthy. Until Luck actually steps on the football field, and proves the he can take hits without cause for concern, the shoulder conversation isn’t going to disappear anytime soon.
Nobody needs to explain how effective Luck can be when he’s fully healthy, and on top of his game since there have been times when he plays on a MVP level. Whether Luck has what it takes to return to that level in 2018, only time will tell, but for the sake of Indianapolis, even they know the importance of taking things slow instead of looking too far ahead to avoid any sort of setback with their beloved quarterback.
