NFL 2018: Biggest obstacle each team must overcome

Los Angeles Chargers: Win games in September
One would think that a team that ended the regular season winning six of their final seven games would have been a lock for at least a Wild Card spot, but unfortunately that was far from the case for the Los Angeles Chargers. Beginning the year on a four-game losing streak was one of a few reasons behind the Chargers watching the playoffs from home last season, and if they plan on living up to the hype for 2018, winning in September is going to be extremely important.
Los Angeles simply can’t afford to experience another disappointing start like last year, especially when seeing how competitive the AFC West is expected to be with the other three teams looking like contenders as well. Talent wise, the Chargers certainly seem capable of becoming one of the top threats in the AFC, and if the defense picks up where they left off at the end of last season, this is going to be a dangerous team.
Not to mention, Philip Rivers knows it’s only a matter of time before the veteran is forced to call it a career, meaning his window to win a Super Bowl is coming to a close. So if Los Angeles is going to come through in 2018, those four games in the first month are going to be extremely important.
