NFL 2018: Biggest obstacle each team must overcome

New York Giants: Beckham bouncing back stronger
The New York Giants were the perfect example of how nothing is guaranteed in the NFL since the team went from strong Super Bowl contenders heading into Week 1 last year to go on to win just three games. Sadly, not even key injuries to players like Odell Beckham Jr. couldn’t even be used as an excuse since the struggles were already there beforehand, but on a positive note, at least Ben McAdoo is no longer around as the head coach.
Speaking of Beckham, while Giants fans continue to wait and see if he eventually receives a hefty new contract, the main focus for the wideout heading into 2018 should be making sure he remains healthy without any setbacks. Suffering a fractured ankle early on last season left a major void for New York in the passing game when seeing how he found the end zone 35 times during his first three NFL seasons.
If Beckham can return to that effective level, the Giants will be in great shape to bounce back as a contender once again in the NFC during the 2018 season. Plus, if the two sides fail to reach an agreement on a new deal before the regular season, another monster year from Beckham could result in a massive payday down the road.
