NFL 2018: Biggest obstacle each team must overcome

Philadelphia Eagles: Key players returning to full strength
For the first time in franchise history, the Eagles will enter a new season as defending Super Bowl champions after putting together an epic run last season, despite nobody believing they had a chance once Carson Wentz went down. Losing their star quarterback to a torn ACL and LCL in the middle of December made it seem like the Eagles were toast, but luckily it was Nick Foles that stepped up when needed the most, all while eventually winning Super Bowl MVP honors.
Even if he never takes another snap during the regular season for Philadelphia, Foles will always be considered a hero in the City of Brotherly Love when looking at how hungry fans were for a championship. As for whether the Eagles have what it takes to repeat as champions, well that’s always easier said than done, and they face plenty of obstacles once again in the injury department.
Not only is the status of Wentz up in the air at the moment for Week 1, but Philadelphia is still unsure about a few other star players as well, like Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Graham. Even if some of these players are unable to go at the beginning of September, knowing Doug Pederson, the Eagles head coach will figure out a way to get by in the mean time.
