Buffalo Bills: Keeping McCoy focused on football

After years of always coming up short to put an end to their playoff drought, the Buffalo Bills finally came through during the 2017 season by earning one of the Wild Card spots in the AFC, mainly as a result of them having one of the top defenses in the league. One can only imagine how the outcome of last season would have been different for the Bills if the offense ended up being more consistent, but at least the unit heads into another new season with LeSean McCoy leading the way in the backfield.

With that being said, McCoy has unfortunately found himself in the middle of an investigation that has been somewhat of a distraction over the last couple of weeks, and only time will tell when it comes to whether the veteran ends up facing a suspension. For now, McCoy is doing his best to remain focused on football, which of course is always easier said than done.

Throughout his career, McCoy has been viewed as one of the most dangerous running backs in the league when looking at his ability to turn a small play into a big gain. And when looking at the inconsistency surrounding the Bills’ offense during the 2017 season, the team needs all of the help they can get to give them a better chance of being a contender in the AFC.
