Cleveland Browns: Put together a few wins

It sounds terrible to say when hearing how pathetic it sounds, but all the Cleveland Browns need to do in 2018 is a win a game or two for it to be considered improvement from a year ago. One year after going 1-15, the Browns pulled the unthinkable last season by becoming the second team in NFL history to go an entire year without winning a single game, despite numerous opportunities to win.

While the argument can be made that Hue Jackson should have been fired since he’s only won a single game over the last two seasons, it’s also easy to make the case that Cleveland wants to see what he can accomplish with some actual talent on the roster.

No matter who Jackson decides to go with at quarterback to start the year, Tyrod Taylor or Baker Mayfield would both benefit from the improved weapons on offense, including a new target at receiver in Jarvis Landry. Earning a playoff spot in the AFC may seem like a long shot, but just winning a few games would be considered an accomplishment for a team like the Browns when looking at all of the struggles from the previous two seasons since they can only go up after zero wins.
