After a long hiatus and offseason, football fans are desperate for the 2018 NFL preseason, and here’s how you can watch the action online.

The 2018 NFL preseason is finally upon us. Following the draft, fans spend months just waiting for football. That’s why they tend to hang on any semblance of meaningful news throughout the offseason. Minicamps, OTAs and the like rarely offer anything of substance, but that doesn’t stop fans from clinging to everything about football that they can soak up.

But now that the 2018 NFL preseason is about to begin, that all changes. The preseason means that full teams are in training camp and things can begin to take shape. While camp gives indications about depth charts and roles that players will play though, nothing means as much as the preseason action on the field.

After all, when a player is going up against the same teammates day in and day out in practices at training camp, they pick up on tendencies and so on. Yes, you can do that through watching film on opponents too. But it’s still a completely different beast to tackle for players when they are thrust into actual game action, even if preseason games don’t truly matter in terms of results.

Subsequently, there is good reason for fans to be excited about the beginning of the 2018 NFL preseason, which kicks off with the Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 2 between the Chicago Bears and Baltimore Ravens. The next week, on Aug. 9, we’ll then get a full slate of NFL preseason action. But how can you watch online and stream these games?

For all out-of-market and non-nationally televised games, NFL Game Pass is what you need to catch all of the 2018 NFL preseason action. It’s a subscription based service that you will have to pay for, but it’s well worth it as it offers preseason action and replays of every regular season game as well once that rolls around.
