New York Jets: JetUp Bleeding Green Podcast, Sam Darnold expectations

The New York Jets have signed their franchise quarterback, and Sam Darnold is in camp. Now it’s time to talk about reasonable expectations.

The long drawn out saga is finally over. The New York Jets and Sam Darnold agreed on the contract, and he’s at camp. The journey to the beginning of the Darnold era is over, and now he can get cracking.

The easy part is now done. Now Darnold must do his thing to prove to the coaches he’s ready to play right away. Everything is on him. If he starts Week 1, it’ll be because he earned it.
