It’s still early in training camp, but these five players are already making their presence known with the Dallas Cowboys
This offseason has had a lot of noise for the Dallas Cowboys, but that’s the norm for a team that’s known as America’s Team. Nothing happens without there being a lot of noise surrounding this team.
That noise gets even louder when they make controversial moves like they did in the 2018 offseason when they cut receiver Dez Bryant. The move was done since the pay Bryant was due was far exceeding the production he had on the field.
From there, things got more confusing as tight end Jason Witten called it a career and headed to the broadcast booth. Losing two of their most notable pass catchers put the Cowboys in a bind as they try to solve the question of who will catch passes from quarterback Dak Prescott.
In addition to that question, they also have to fix their issues on the offensive line that plagued them in 2017. There are also problems in the back end of their defense and as always seems to be the case, the interior of their defensive line feels thin.
It’s early in camp, but Dallas is doing their due diligence to address all these concerns. Here we will look at five players who have stood out so far as players ready to step up.
