1. Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans

Current ADP: 50.3

2017 Average Points Per Game: 8.4

Trust me when I say I’m not alone on this one — there are a lot of people concerned about Derrick Henry’s fantasy outlook in 2018. While Tennessee Titans fans are excited about his potential this season, it may be best to leave him on the board during draft day.

Yes, DeMarco Murray is gone. That officially puts Henry in the driver’s seat of the Tennessee ground game. Unfortunately, the Titans also signed Dion Lewis this offseason, a versatile offensive weapon who can be utilized in a number of ways. If he manages to stay healthy, Lewis will have a prominent role on offense.

That’ll certainly take a chunk out of Henry’s touches. In fact, it could force him to essentially split the workload like he did last season. As injury-prone as Lewis can be, there’s no denying he’s a sparkplug when on the field. Just watch (or look at the stats for) the New England Patriots’ last few games of the 2017 regular season if you need further evidence.

Believe it or not, this is going to be a committee. I know everyone got their hopes up when Murray was released, but even the Titans weren’t ready to hand the keys to Henry. Instead, they hedged their bet by bringing in Lewis, who demands touches when he isn’t on the injury report.

Henry is a great young runner who could become a featured back someday. Unfortunately, that day won’t come in 2018. If you plan on hanging your fantasy hopes on the Titans’ bowling ball of a back this season, you’re going to be very disappointed with the end results.
