3. Marcell Ateman, Wide Receiver

The “other” receiver from Oklahoma State, Marcell Ateman didn’t get the love that James Washington did. But he had developed into quite the player by his senior season when he went for 1,156 yards and eight touchdowns.

Most impressively, he proved he’s not just a huge frame, as Ateman averaged 19.6 yards per catch his final season with the Cowboys. Still, he lasted until the final round and Oakland is glad they called his name so far as he’s been sticking out at practices according to Eddie Paskal of the team’s official website.

"“We all knew what to expect from Derek Carr, Bruce Irvin, and the rest of the Raiders’ studs, but the rookie from Oklahoma State has been a pleasant surprise so far. It seems like each day he’s made some type of play to make you take note of his 6’4” frame, so he’s been a guy that I’ve had my eye on. At this point, he just needs to keep stacking good days, and then we’ll get an even better idea of what he brings to the table once the preseason rolls around.” — Eddie Paskal, OaklandRaiders.com"

Wide receiver is a crowded position in Oakland, so Ateman finding a way to stick out is huge for him as he tries to make the final 53-man roster.
