2017 was a season to forget for the New York Giants. As they turn the page, here are three players who could have a breakout season as they look to improve.

There’s a lot to like about the prospects of the New York Giants in 2018. That’s not often an easy thing to say about a franchise coming off a three-win season, but the Giants weren’t really a bad team last year — they were a team that had atrocious luck.

After going 11-5 in 2016, they added wide receiver Brandon Marshall to a corps that already had Odell Beckham, Jr. and Sterling Shepard. The three looked to be a dangerous trio, but none of them played a full season.

Shepard had the most time as he suited up for 11 games, but Marshall played only five and OBJ managed just four games due to health. Marshall is now gone, but the availability of both Shepard and Beckham will surely lift the Giants chances this year.

Also helping will be their huge offseason additions of left tackle Nate Solder, guard Will Hernandez and of course, No. 2 overall pick Saquon Barkley. With those additions, the offense will be vastly improved in 2018, which will help their win total.

Also helping will be a few breakout players, three of which we will predict here.
