Week 10: vs. Buffalo Bills

The first matchup with the Bills has them coming to MetLife Stadium just before the Bye Week. If Josh Allen can prove everyone wrong and become an accurate quarterback at the NFL level, this could be the beginning of an AFC East rivalry between the Jets and the Bills.

On paper, these two teams seem pretty close. The Bills defense is slightly better than the Jets, even after the Jets offseason additions. However, if they’re both starting rookies, the Jets hold the edge at quarterback.

This game won’t come down to turnovers, because there might not be any. This will come down to just who can execute their game plan better and sheer will to win. It may also come down to who has the ball last because the teams are so close.

This game will be an opportunity for Darnold once again to show off his two-minute drill skills. The Jets will be trailing by less than a touchdown will less than four minutes to go.

The Jets will need a touchdown to win, and Darnold — unlike in Denver — will rise to the challenge and lead the Jets on a game-winning drive (the first of his career).

Things look good for the 2018 Jets as they head into the Bye Week at 7-4.
