Week 14: at Buffalo Bills

The Jets will take a six-game winning streak into the penultimate division matchup of the 2018 season which finds the Jets traveling to Orchard Park to take on the Bills. The last time the Jets had a good team heading to Buffalo was in 2015, and that game left a sour taste in everyone’s mouth.

This game won’t have the same ramifications as the one in 2015, because the Jets will still have three games after this one. However, being competitive with the Bills is important for the future of the franchise, because the teams are relatively even on paper.

The Jets will keep this game close. That said, the Bills will have the first game in mind and look to avoid the series sweep. This game won’t be as badly played by the Jets as it was in 2015, but, unfortunately for them, it will end up having the same result.

For the first time, a hostile crowd will get to Sam Darnold. It’s a division matchup with playoff implications, and the Bills faithful will get to him — not early, but late in this game.

The combination of it being a division matchup and the playoffs implications will get to him, and he will throw an interception that seals the deal for this game. This game will be a learning experience for another game later this season.

Final Score

Jets 20, Bills 24
