NFL 2018: Every team’s biggest training camp battle

Jacksonville Jaguars: Wide Receiver
This offseason, the Jacksonville Jaguars lost one of their biggest targets when Allen Robinson joined the Chicago Bears in free agency. While they got to the AFC Championship Game with Robinson sidelined, the franchise still would have been better had he returned.
Considering they led the league in rushing during 2017, it was understandable they let him walk and decided to spend the money elsewhere.
Now with him gone, wide receiver is suddenly a position to watch. They did retain Marqise Lee and added D.J. Chark in the draft and Donte Moncrief in free agency. This is in addition to already having Dede Westbrook on staff along with Keelan Cole. In short, the position may not have someone with the pedigree of Robinson, but the cupboard isn’t bare.
With Moncrief and Lee having issues throughout their career with injuries, the player who could end up really taking a big step forward in 2018 is Cole.
As an undrafted rookie, Cole broke out with 748 yards receiving off 42 receptions. He’s got some age on him at 25 years old, but that had to do with a long road to the NFL for the underdog who attended Kentucky Wesleyan. He’s a name to watch in the race to become Blake Bortles’ favorite target this season.
