With their preseason set to start, we again look at how the Dallas Cowboys could fare in 2018 with this game by game prediction
It’s a big season for the Dallas Cowboys — and while that always seems to be cliche, this year feels like it really is. After going 13-3 in 2016, hopes were high in Big D.
Jason Garrett was the reigning Coach of the Year and they also had the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year in Dak Prescott at quarterback. On top of that, running back Ezekiel Elliott had just led the league in rushing as a rookie.
Then they went out and struggled like they often do after a big season. Elliott was dealing with a domestic violence suspension and subsequent legal battle against the shield and there were injury problems on the offensive line that didn’t help either.
With that going on, Prescott began to look like a young quarterback — something he avoided his entire rookie season. They still won nine games but had you read the headlines you would be forgiven for believing this was the franchise that became just the second team to go 0-16 in the history of the league.
Despite the winning season, Dallas missed the postseason and so people expect them to do the same and start seeing jobs lost. To avoid this, they need to rattle off some wins and we will do our best to try and predict just how many of those they will have with this game-by-game 2018 season prediction.
