The Chicago Bears made bold moves to change their fortunes around. Was it enough to take a step forward? Here are five bold predictions for their 2018 season.

The Chicago Bears haven’t done much for the better part of a decade. They went from playoff contenders to an irrelevant franchise. We’ve seen things happen to the team that we haven’t seen before, including fights in the locker room and multiple PED suspensions.

However, general manager Ryan Pace did his best to turn things around. He changed coaches, he went and made big free agent signings, and drafted players who could change the culture of losing at Halas Hall.

The fans are tired of all the losing. This is a proud franchise that has the most Hall of Fame members of any in the NFL. Things must change and Pace understands that.

Are the changes Pace made enough? At the very least, he instilled enthusiasm to Bears Nation. Fans have a lot of hope for the upcoming season, hope they haven’t had for quite a while. Of course, the play on the field needs to do its part. If the players do their part and do well, the hope continues to grow. If they don’t it’ll just be the same low morale as we’ve seen.
