Week 11: Dallas Cowboys

Once again, I like the Falcons chances against the Dallas Cowboys, especially in Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Dirty Birds proved what a great pass-rush could do to Dak Prescott’s game last season, and while I don’t expect another six-sack effort again from an Atlanta defensive-end, I do expect their defense to give Dallas all kinds of trouble at the line-of-scrimmage.

The biggest difference between last year’s contest and this game on November 18th will obviously be Ezekiel Elliott. The former Ohio State superstar was suspended for the game last year, which definitely proved to be a difference maker for the Cowboys in their 27-7 blowout loss to the Dirty Birds.

While Elliott’s presence will be very tough on the Falcons, it won’t be a back-breaker, as I expect them to pull out a close victory over “America’s Team” thanks to a clutch Matt Bryant field goal late in the fourth quarter.

After a huge conference win over the Cowboys, the Falcons earn their seventh win of the season, heading into a tough game against the Saints on Thanksgiving Night.

Final Score:

Dallas Cowboys: 30, Atlanta Falcons (7-3): 33
