Week 4: Cincinnati Bengals

Thankfully for the Falcons, these are two very different teams than the last time they faced back in 2014. Atlanta was totally manhandled in that match-up four years ago, with the Bengals handing the Dirty Birds a 24-10 loss.

Did I mention that Steven Jackson was the Falcons leading rusher with 46 yards on 11 carries that day? Thank goodness that experiment’s over.

All kidding aside, Atlanta presents a very tough challenge for Cincinnati’s defense. With Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley on the outside, their defensive backs will have a tough time stopping the Falcons passing attack.

However, as talented as those two guys are for the Dirty Birds, I’m betting Mohamed Sanu winds up at the team’s leading receiver against his former team. Who knows, maybe we’ll even see Sanu toss his first touchdown pass of the season against the Bengals? We can dream, right?

At the end of the day, thanks to some unrelenting pressure from Vic Beasley and Takk McKinley, Atlanta will stifle the Bengals offense and emerge victorious.

Final Score:

Cincinnati Bengals: 13, Atlanta Falcons (3-1): 27
